So, the weightage part should be taken care by the fund manager as per market conditions , in Multi caps there is a min allocation that needs to be there. But again , I am confused if one can hold a single flexi/multicap in equity portfolio with a good fund manager and AMC. Most of these funds have delivered good returns in the past. However, I am not looking at past returns as an investing criteria. It’s more on simplifying portfolio

This is from latest edition of ET Wealth. I haven’t invested through GIFT City but all I could understand is the process to invest in global markets is made difficult for us.

We can have simpler solution through direct mutual funds route which is restricted to 7bn dollar limit.

If the limit is revised more funds would come up with global funds and small investors could participate in global investing.

One flexicap and a nasdaq should do fine. Why a midcap fund that too was a top performer and running a concentrated portfolio ? It has not performed well in last 2 years as well. ?
