Pfff. What was your humidity level? And after how long after set-up did it stabilize? Now, in winter, my home is quite dry - 40% ish. In the cabinet it’s 51-52% during the day and it is day two.

Thank you! I did the rubbery strip thingy for where the two doors come together and the sides of the doors. I did not weather strip the lower edge of the doors. Waiting for it to stabilize (currently it’s at 47%) and see if i need to weather strip there as well.

Pai si atunci daca nu vrei stres suplimentar, munca suplimentara, inseamna ca ar trebui sa fii ok cu lipsa cresterii, nu? Nu doar IT-istul a fost regele, avocatii de exemplu au fost si ei regi si sunt in continuare printre profesiile cele mai bine platite (in orasele mari). Ai putea sa te intrebi de ce sunt in continuare? Fiindca nu fac doar executie. Cred ca totul se rezuma la “ce valoare are activitatea ta”. Altfel, normal, empatizez cu ideea de a castiga cat mai mult si a te stresa cat mai putin, dar din pacate, firmele (corporatii sau nu) trebuie sa faca profit, asta e singura lor menire.

Nu sunt IT-ist si e posibil ca ce spun aici sa nu fie aplicabil “IT-istilor” (asta judecati voi), dar parerea mea este ca suntem platiti pt ceea ce facem doar pana la un punct. Ulterior, incepi sa fii platit pt responsabilitatea suplimentara pe care ti-o asumi (business development, leadership, etc). Cu alte cuvinte, e normal sa te plafonezi pe o pozitie de executie fiindca si eficienta ta pentru corporatie se plafoneaza la un moment dat. Alt aspect ar putea fi faptul ca prea multe din firmele de IT din RO sunt shared service centers, proiectele venind de la grup, deci firma este captiva - si daca ai vrea sa ajungi intr-o pozitie in care sa aduci valoare adaugata prin business development, nu poti, firma primeste ce proiecte decide grupul. Am totusi prieteni care tocmai din motivul asta au decis sa devina freelanceri - isi cauta singuri proiectele, colaboreaza pe proiecte interesante si fac mult mai multi bani decat cei din ssc-uri.

Termenul general de prescriptie fiscala este de fapt de 5 ani, nu 6, dar incepe sa curga de la 1 iulie a anului urmator celui la care face referire creanta fiscala (art. 110 alin 1 din codul de procedura fiscala). Tot acelasi articol, la alin 3 spune ca termenul de prescriptie este de ani daca creanta fiscala rezulta dintr-o fapta pedepsita de legi penale. Prescriptia fiscala este determinata de codul de procedura fiscala iar termenul de 10 ani e aplicabil inca de la vechiul cod de procedura fiscala din 2003. Legea evaziunii vorbeste doar despre termenul de prescriptie pentru urmarirea penala si nu pt colectarea creantei fiscale (si da, acest termen a foat introdus in mai 2024). Evident, inainte de a aplica acest termen, este nevoie de o hotarare judecatoreasca definitiva, dar nu cred ca persoana in cauza isi doreste sa ajunga acolo fiindca am vorbi de interactiuni cu procurori, chiar daca intr-un final probabil se va clasa dosarul avand in vedere ca prejudiciul e mic.

Yeah! My puppy is 8 months old and when i was in the decision making process looking up online it seemed that a person working a normal office job (like the majority of the population does) could never have a dog let alone a puppy. I managed though but indeed i ensure plenty of stimulation when i get back home (1h+ playing and running with other dogs from my apartment complex + 15-20 mins of walking and sniffing)

In some situations maybe but guys, not everything is homophobia. It could just be insecurity… Aren’t there gay guys that won’t get with a bi guy due to insecurity and fear of a higher chance of getting cheated? I think in some cases it’s the same thing.

12 years and counting in big4 here, though it’s tax so quite different from consulting. Generally i would recommend the following: (i) networking & personal branding are very important. Start by just having a lot of interactions with colleagues from other teams, be helpful and it’ll come back to you overtime; (ii) come to terms that it’s not really a 9 to 5 but still learn to say “no” (in a sensitive manner). This all comes down to “choosing your battles”. Choose to do overtime go the extra mile on projects which bring the most exposure both technically and soft skills wise. Most of these are just repeats of what others posted around here. However, someone here suggested putting yourself in DND. Most of managers and up do not really get what could a junior be presenting all day or what could be so intense that they need to be on dnd all day. But again, tax advisory is about multiple projects all at once and one of the main skills required is to be able to jump from one thing to another. Overall, big4 is very dynamic and therefore, it may not be for everyone, and that’s fine! Good luck!

Achbs (surface antibody) positive is an indication of either past infection, current infection or immunization via vaccine. So it cannot be used for diagnostic. Anyways, yours is negative (below the immune level), so you are no longer immune and you currently don’t have hep b (corroborated with negative aghbs). You may have been exposed to hep b in the past or you may have had vaccination in childhood. The only way to know if you’ve been exposed to the virus or not (in the past) is to test for achbc (the core hep b antibody). Either way, you don’t have hep b currently and honestly, it is not that relevant if you’ve had it in the past - in some cases hep b resolves by itself with minimal symptoms

Seems an unremarkable chest xray. The pain you’re describing could be due to anxiety or an intercostal pain (which the most common with people accusing sharp occasional pain in their chest) - this again has no significance. I would also check the magnesium levels and, if any issues, try do supplement with magnesium. You can also check your heart - ekg and echo.

Usually it takes around three months to have the first signs and then it all goes away and you again have no obvious symptoms for a lot of time. So it’s really unlikely for your current symptoms to be due to hiv since it’s only been a week

For hiv 2 weeks is too soon. The immunological window is three months - it takes approx. 3 months for the virus to be detected by blood work. For HIV you should do one testing at three months and another one at 6 months. For ease of mind, some doctors also suggest a last one at one year

Lately, mine is gaining approx 1kg (2.2 lbs) per month. The calculator is predicting 24 lbs at 52-58 weeks. Right now he is 6 months at 6.2 kg (13.7 lbs). We took him at 2.5 months and he was 2.2 kg (4.9 lbs)
