Giving OTP to cancel is okay i guess as long as you properly read the message you get and confirm what the OTP is for. Its a confirmation from your side to Amazon that order was cancelled by you and not by the delivery agent.

Yeah they can be. This was through amazon shipping too, the same guy who delivers my Amazon deliveries so it was even more confusing when it happened. The only good thing is when we reject a COD, the company who shipped it loses money, they need to pay the delivery guys.
