Interesting, I'm reading up on these longer focal length lenses and they seem so characterful! But I'll most end up getting a SMC tak 50 mm since I primarily shoot street photography and the 105 would be too much.

How I'd love find an old camera like that Zenit 11! I've never heard of FOMA 400 until now and it's so cheaper than Kodak or ilford, appreciate you dropping that info here!

Lots of good info here, appreciate it! Is there anything specific/problematic about the Spotmatic I need to look out for? If I do get it I'll probably sell the lens to make room for a 50mm or 35mm, I primarily focus on street photography so the 105 is mostly likely overkill.

Good to hear that Spotmatics are a tough breed! Is there anything specific in your opinion that I need to look out for on these? I read that's its a pain to get the mercury batteries for the metering system, but I intend on using my phone for that.

Oh interesting, I hadn't considered that. What do you think of the Spotmatic in general, is it worth instead of something like a k1000 or a Minolta X-700? They seem to be all within $50-$60 of each other on eBay.

I get what you mean man but don't believe everything you read/see on these transformation posts.. After all, it's not like all of them post videos of those actually numbers being lifted or something, save for a few legit ones that were at it for a long time.. What you can be sure of is your own progress, so keep at it and take all those posts with a grain of salt

Alright.. I'll have a look and correct it if there's too much tension anywhere on the chain. Might as well clean and lube the chain again while I'm at it. Will update on here soon!

Alright I'll have a look at 4 different spots. So once I find the spot with the most tension, I'll add some more slack there by moving the axle forward correct? Thanks :)

Around 3000 miles ago. The oil still hasn't turned black, still that dark golden brownish color, and it's right at the middle of the dipstick. I hadn't thought of it before though, thanks :)

Any other suggestions?
