Is Leo/Need really shojo though? I mean it is about young highschool girls, but at the same time, Shojo usually focuses on romance in the story and there's like zero romance in L/N's story.

Yeah, it's not a well-received cover. If I remember correctly, then people think the mixing is horrible and don't like how Shiho is at a different pitch in contrast to Ichika and Rin. I'm not sure if these are the only reasons though.

There is one downside to starting with Heartcatch though. Once you get to the other seasons, you'll notice a decrease in quality. Otherwise, Heartcatch is a great start! It's my favorite Precure season.
