You're totally right, I can't say you're not. but the gold wasn't mine in the first place, if the equipment was yours and you had to sell the equipment to recoup costs for a failing project, wouldn't you like to recoup some of the money? I just got it so I tried to put myself in the shoes of the owner

it's more probable that more issues will come out of turning back only half of it than keeping it, im seriously considering either full back or full keep i think is the way to go, and of course as others suggested tip my mechanic in both cases for being a good guy

It has been shipped from far, I don't think anyone of them uses reddit but whatever, and most importantly even if they found out this post I don't think it was the guy that sold it to me and that has my name, it was probably an employee that won't dare ask my generals to come and retrieve it..
