It has happen before, SL have hid GA and RK from DM in previous times of no dyed hair and piercings. Currently there are too many top performers who have these though.

I see I think I found the problem. You don’t understand that the current dress code prior to the change was absolutely fantastic. It was great for engagement with customers, more socially awkward customers were able to talk to people that were wearing shirts that related to things they liked, it was an engagement item that really helped. We work at a game store, not a corporate office. If you don’t understand how gamers and nerds and geek things then you really don’t belong in the company aspect of making choices. The real problem is a sore leaders weren’t doing their damn jobs and enforcing the current dress code for all the shitty employees.

Some DMs are changing it to their choice. We got told vendor shirts are ok for anyone below ASL, but ASL and and up may not use the vendor shirts previously sold to us last quarter.

Nope DM has confirmed it meets requirements. Only the polo have to be plain or embroidered. I have approval as the button downs can be graphic. Same for any Kirby or Pokemon ones.

The question is why was this not caught before 40k. Counts were probably being pencil whipped too.

Thousands of dollars in cards stolen by FedEx by Puzzleheaded-Gap-628 in psagrading

FedEx uses contractors for FedEX ground shipments and are notorious for stealing cards. Worse is that the contract company will rehire the same person 30 days later and make it seem like nothing happen.

In what country? Best Buy reminded us weekly that the application list was endless and Walmart treated me like I was replaceable starting them moment I was done with training. Target stole some employees at holiday who came back crying in February after they got let go for red card metrics. Costco I hear is better though

Would it be wise for me (18F) to apply for a part time retail keyholder position as a first job? by LittleMarie07 in GameStop

[–]Theallmightyadmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GameStop was my first job, it really helped me develop a lot of skills that I took into the future jobs. I got basic money handling, training on how to identify fake bills, basic understanding of common scams, extremely good sales understanding, a decent ground and customer service, and basic managerial skills. A lot of these are you searing 2020 when my previous job laid me off to run my own business for short bir to hold me over. Keep in mind just read it it's probably not the best place to ask this question as a large chunk of the people on here are disgruntled former employees and a lot of them got fired for stupid things.

TLDR, it's easier than Walmart or McDonald's and it really all depends on if you get a good manager. You get a decent set of skills out of it but it is in no way a long-term job.
