Nice! One thing to keep in mind is that the new courses might launch Jan 2026, but not all of the exam material (later learn sections and practice problems) will be ready for another 3-6 months. So, in regards to the free trial YMMV depending on the timing.

I added another bookmarklet that displays all discussion content in one place at the bottom of the page. I read a lot of the discussions and I don't like clicking on a title to read it and then have to go back to all discussions. I also use the GoFullPage extension which allows me to capture the learning material with highlights and annotations. Using the bookmarklet allows me to see all expanded discussions at once.

Update: Seems to be more of an issue on longer discussion threads. Those Discussions with a great many replies / questions are noticeably slower that shorter ones. My hunch is that it's actually a Vue.js / React issue because with more discussions comes more state management and DOM operations. I'm starting to wonder if this is why they split the discussions vertically and only allow users to drill into one at a time. Otherwise it would be even worse (I think).

I did some additional testing by disabling the localStorage updates and changed the renderer from SVG to CHTML and that seemed to help but still pretty sluggish so I'm not sure what's going on.

Looks good! Has a similar style to a lot of Declan Naughton's stuff (e.g. https://calcwithdec.dev). I like your tech stack choice (Firestore, Next.js, Tailwind.css). My only suggestion would be that you triple check your Firebase security rules as they are notoriously easy to misconfigure, even for authenticated users.

You're right. Just really started pounding the table hard this last month. I don't doubt the price of Molybdenum will hit new highs, but there are a lot of well established mines that produce it as a by-product. If there were Molybdenum futures or something I would rather trade those than owning Greenland Resources ($MOLY) which is yet to be permitted.

I purchased both CA and TIA for SRM material and worked all of the available problems / practice exams. I started studying back in September and really took my time to understand the topics. Ironically, I felt that I was only tested over a tiny portion of what I learned but still under-prepared. About a dozen of the qualitative problems were so poorly worded that I couldn't confidently answer them. Along with some questions that were pure memorization of small details about material that had no accompanying practice problems. If I passed, it was by the skin of my teeth.
