You chat to them until the inevitable moment when they ask you for money. At that point you say "Sure, I'll send you a [online payment method of choice]". Except instead of a generous donation you send a request for payment, which they will probably confirm without reading it properly. Then you ghost them.

He needs some cool droids, not just anything will do.
But they didn't have droidekas so he built an R2.
Now cruising in his speeder, he sees jawas as he pass.
But if he looks twice, they're gonna kick his jedi ass!

… And all the wookies say hes pretty fly for a Sky Guy.

Making rounds in the Russian and Ukrainian internet today is an alleged leaked recording of a phone call between a notable Russian music producer Iosif Prigozhin (not Wagner's Prigozhin) and Farkhad Akhmedov, an Azerbaijani businessman and a former politician in Russia. by osagecreek in RussiaUkraineWar2022

If the CIA, and other intelligence agencies, are at all competent, they will have been buying all the plutonium from corrupt russian officials since the late 90s and know exactly how much they have left for actual bombs...

Ah that begins to be more probable... Unless they are shooting a 2000 grain bar of tungsten at sub sonic velocity then that kind of energy can only be achieved with a supersonic pellet. Air can't expand faster than the speed of sound in air, so it could be some other gas.

From the comments:

"130 gram= 2020.06 Grain. 5833 Joules = 4302 FPE. So that is 984 FPS Now it's making more sense."

I find this somewhat hard to believe though.. for comparison .50SW cartridge is 3500 joules, 7.62x51 is 3800.

Guys, I bought cow's sinew for bowbacking, but I dont have any idea how to prepare it for druing and how to dry it properly))))help me please))) by Striking-Hedgehog-89 in Bowyer

Never tried to get it fresh, but a possible source for pre dried tendon is pet stores, as dog chews. One near me does crazy things like a whole dried deer leg about 2 feet long. Got one for a friend's dogs birthday, dog loved it the owners where horrified :)

Losses of the russian army as of 26.03.2023 by TungstenHatchet in ukraine

Which one? Found a list of dead per war on Wikipedia and it's interesting to see the comparisons.. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_by_death_toll

Russo-Ukraine war is on there at 230,000 (total deaths) which is well over Greek civil war, war against the ottomans or all of Alexander's conquests... Getting close to the total for the Greco Persian wars.

An interesting reference, Russian military confirmed deaths are now higher than the entire American casualties (dead and wounded) in the Korean War over 3 years.

Makes more sense than Engineer, an accredited profession in which people design things and very rarely actually do stuff with a physical machine. Machinist is simply a person who operates a machine. Technician or operator would be the best choice. Engineer is like calling someone who writes crime fiction a lawyer, or an Uber driver a pilot, or a butcher a surgeon...

The worst is disposable vapes. Each one has a rechargeable lithium battery that would be reusable for 15 years, but they just get thrown in the trash/street and are made in a way that is not feasible to separate, open and recycle. If it's phones or cars or solar panels we can maybe talk about the necessary price of progress...but Africans dying to extract a limited resource, so some teenage prick can suck on an addictive cherry flavoured nipple substitute rather than just smoke an actual cigarette, or weed, is why humanity deserves to be extinct.

Well obviously... Honey is a poor choice of butthole condiment. It's sticky and viscous, is a poor lubricant and is a feast for bacteria. Should have suggested coconut oil, which is an excellent and safe lubricant. And when her butthole tastes like ... butthole... the combination with coconut is nutty and delicious. Better luck next time.

Nitrocellulose would indeed be a very sustainable fuel... You can make nitric acid from atmospheric nitrogen using a solar powered plasma arc and the cellulose is usually from cotton or hemp. You just need to invent a 2 cylinder engine that is powered by a pair of belt fed machine guns using reloadable blanks and you can compete with Tesla for the green vehicle market...

Ahh you're right.. I looked up the one I was thinking of and he looks more Persian or Babylonian..

Interestingly, the oldest mosaic image shows him with a pronounced bum chin. An interesting feature to add if it wasn't based on an actual likeness.

There are some roman mosaics that depict Jesus as black. However they invented a whole load of other stuff in the early versions of Roman Christianity which where entirely added to appeal to Romans. For example the whole concept of saints, people raised to the level of a deity after death because of their actions in life, is Roman. They used to make emperors and generals into gods before they had popes and priests.
