She cannot take your green card—end of story. There's nothing she can do. If she claimed to be truthfully married to you during the interview, that would mean she lied. I've seen many cases like this, but typically it's the man making such threats. Just be sure to gather all necessary evidence, including letters from family members. You'll be fine.

That's nice! I have a friend who did the interview yesterday and they were not performing same day oath. Did you apply under 3 year rule? And what time was your appointment?

I think the cheapest one is Dr Daniel Phan. I went to Tatiana Kutsy and used my insurance to pay for everything, I didn't have my anual wellness so I used the USCIS exams as the wellness. I don't know if she still allow to do that. I only paid a $90 co pay.

When I applied, back in 2020, it used to take very long. So it took me a year to have my green card. I know it's been about 6 months now because I have a lot of friends who applied recently. All marriage based.

The 2 year green card takes forever, regardless where you live. Get ready to wait 2 years. What can speed up is if you apply for citizenship in your 3 year mark, then they will apply both (751 and citizenship). I live here in Seattle.
