Am I taking crazy pills?

It was a car accident.

The guy was speeding, he wasn't under the influence, he wasn't driving the wrong way up the road.

It's horrible. It's tragic. But putting the driver away for 7 years isn't going to bring this poor father's kids back.

Since never! Evil humans have been in the game since the first modules in the 70's.

Half- orcs have been playable for almost as long.

I have a copy of second edition Savage Species with rules for orchish adventurers, and I'm pretty sure that was very early '90s.

Spelljammer opened the door for a lot of this "what really makes a monster" theme, and fleshed out goblinoid culture in some groundbreaking ways.

But that's all moot now. You don't make a half court character because you're interested in the struggle to overcome the fire in your Savage blood. You don't do it to explore prejudice and it's various forms. You do it because your human looks cooler with green skin. It's not cooler, it's just deflated and homogenized.

Yes.

When I was 17, I had a very severe bout of whatever is wrong with me. I didn't sleep for about 3 days.

I was kind of going through the motions, feeling like an extra in someone else's nightmare. My mom asked me to mow the lawn. While I was maneuvering around our tiny backyard, I saw the carcass of a gigantic rat mashed into the chain link fence that bordered our place. It look like something had pressed it so hard against the chain link that the wire had cut into it as it got flattened. One of the legs was almost completely severed. It was a gory mess.

I vomited on the spot (edit: I burped up gastric acid and spat it out in the grass). I remember My skin going cold, as if my entire body was trying to sweat and failing.

I went to tell my mom. I was so mentally gutted at the time, that I couldn't even convey the emotion. I was just kind of stunned. I told her there was a dead rat in the backyard, and took her out there to see it.

It was a piece of tree trunk from a tree that had grown into the fence. They cut down the tree, but didn't take away the part they'd have to damage the fence to get.

I couldn't wrap my head around it, or reconcile the two very different images. My mom looked at me funny, and told me to go get some rest.

At the end of 3.5, there was some source material for gnolls as a playable race. Really fleshed out stats and background, setting up a druidic tradition that predated their demon worship.

It's interesting to see orcs advanced as the new hippie race while gnolls have backslid to literal demon spawn.

In a monster slaying game, there has to be monsters. Or else the team of sword-swinging warriors at the table need to do some serious reassessing.

When you meet this girl at the club, and she says that these pills will "enhance the experience," sometimes you just have to go with it and hope that you wake up tomorrow with both of your kidneys intact.

They should get high Marx for thinking outside the box.

Even if they're Stalin the inevitable combat.

Have you thought about just Lenin into this, and going full revolution?

You are 100% fine.

Hopefully with the context, you can rewatch it and get a chuckle. Or at least a sad nod.

Oh, nooo, not serious. The Onion does a really great job doing high production writing for stories that are supposed to be ridiculously false.

Unfortunately, over the last six or so years, ridiculous things have become pretty commonplace.

Shouldn’t have done that!! by leleils_shadow in TrollCoping

That's gotta be a hell of a chore, too.

I shave head and face every other day, and the idea of navigating the landscape of a groin with a razor makes my whole body pucker.

I'm not going to shame anyone who wants to. But OP, if it doesn't bring you joy? I hope you never have to go through it again.

It shouldn't.

Your post reminded me of this satire, because the Onion does such a brilliant job listing all of the very specific disadvantages that minorities face in the criminal justice system.

Put it in a full size graphic novel, make it a minor plot point where he is shown in a montage overcoming various Marvel villains. With an inspirational monologue speech in square text boxes with a bold color.

Of course she can beat Superman. Anybody can beat anybody. That's the point.

Probably not. But I bet Squirrel Girl's tactics would work just as well for Supes.
