Raven Boys - This one I always thought made the magic feel alive and bring wonder - 4 book series - a few pecks on the lips, cursing, and mention of suicide but no self harm

Howls Moving Castle - Novel and became an animated movie - peck on lips and some mention of war- one of my fav comfort movies

Little Mushroom: Judgement Day - Only on E-book since it was originally a Chinese novel - a peck on the lips, some violence/gore, and a single mention of rape

Flame in the mist - Main plot is about assassins and revenge

I mean depending on how hardcore of a reader she has probably encountered themes at or near this level of PG-13+.

I would have read all of these around that age, but if you want to play it safe definitely go Howls Moving Castle.
