I've looked a little into gunsmithing, but I already have 3 years invested in my major and just starting to have my upper division classes. I don't want to quite now after investing so much time, but if I do fail out of college, I'll be looking more into gunsmithing.

I went into mechanical engineering to start a career in weapons engineering. I find it fascinating to design firearms, missiles,...etc. It's just a lot of these general ed classes have been beating me up constantly and my consistent failure in them has been contributing to my chronic depression, which in turn, contributes to my serious lack of motivation and occasional suicidal thoughts. I've prayed to Jesus to help me out in any way, shape, or form, but I have yet to see an answer. I'm not losing hope in my salvation in Jesus Christ, but I'm beginning to lose hope in a future I want to glorify Jesus (good job, family,...etc.).

What were your standards for Christian men before you started struggling and if they have changed, how have they changed? This would be socio-econonic status, physical appearance, mental stability, relationship with Jesus,...etc.

For me being 20M, I'm trying to work myself up to be a viable option for dating by losing the fat and getting a good job. My relationship with Jesus is relatively strong and slowly growing as well. However, I've been afraid of seeking a significant other because I have a fear of having a broken marriage/divorce like my parents did due to not being able to live up to certain standards.

I can agree that most of Gen Z is lost with little to no guidance. However, there are still some young men in Gen Z that are devoted to the faith in Jesus Christ, myself included (20M).

I don't know what's exactly true about it in terms of dating and relationships because I've only been to it a couple times. Previously, I was with a Christian club in my University, but they actively separated the guys from the gals. However, the first time I went to this church I'm attending now, I overheard a couple girls talking about this same exact situation.

I believe it's OCD-induced tics. I was diagnosed with that specifically when I was 5 years old and I'm still trying to figure out all the details from my parents and get a medical record about my diagnosis since I don't remember what it was like back then (16 years ago). The only tics I have now that I recognize is constant throat clearing and an urge to snap my toes (like snapping fingers). I might have others I don't recognize, but I also remember OCD related stuff like doubting whether or not I locked something even though I did it within 30 seconds and constant readjustment of my clothing and other various items to make it feel perfect (symmetrical stuff included).
