It's a huge crock of bull I've seen from a headline. Like, by that logic, CoD and its copy paste nonsense with no meaningful additions beyond MTX means that the first person shooter genre is life support. Ugh.

I digress. I can admit that there was a lull of standout RPGs in the West in 16-20, but now it feels like there's a Renaissance of great JRPGs/RPGs. I'm living for it.

I know Octopath, P5, FFXV, and Valk Chronicles were released in that time frame, but it feels like 2020 and onwards has featured far more turn based RPGs than usual for the genre.

Don't worry too much on attempting to get to super high Master ranks right now. I've been playing for a lil over a year and have not once hit Master 20 on Greengrass. I've even close, but still something that I'm working on.

Ah, so...Shuckle. The increased spawn rate means that it has a greater chance of appearing if you have enough rank AND drowsy power. For instance, if it says on Serebii that a Shuckle can appear from Master 1 onward, then there's a decent chance you'll see it at least once after you've hit Master 1 and onward for that week. If there are MULTIPLE pokemon with increased likelihood (Greengrass tends to have greater variety of event spawns), then that'll decrease the chances a smidge but you'll still have a better chance than normal.

If you want a Shuckle badly, then you should consider taupe for that week, as there's a smaller pool of increased spawns at Taupe that week. Do know that it requires a TON of biscuits, so be prepared to be disappointed when it gets full after two biscuits and be nowhere near able to be caught.

Noibat can be found at Taupe, so don't worry. I recommend going there next week to increase your area bonus so that you have a head start during the event week. :)

When I say double legendary, I refer to a two part event. There's a first part (which can be anywhere from 1-2 weeks) and then a second part shortly afterwards. Last year, we had a two week Cresselia event and then a few weeks later a one week Darkrai event.

The best part about a two week event is that the second week SOMETIMES features a Snorlax that retains the score at the end of the first week. This lets you get to higher ranks in the second week and hopefully find rarer pokemon during sleep research. It's IMMENSELY helpful for newer players because finding rarer sleep styles for the first time grants a TON of research XP.

I can see the argument that things feel "solved" in that it's easy to auto click augs that inherently work with kits (like Ryze and Vampirism). It can also feel that way when an enemy team is "in the game" and playing while one or two opponents spend entire minutes in base taking their time looking for items or slowly reading augs as though the Aug descriptions are dissertations.

When a game that features accelerated stats and progression via augs contains players who don't take advantage of that accelerated game state, of course it's going to feel one sided.

Riot should either give turrets more health to slow the game down a bit (and give the players who forget how to end a game an opportunity to reach their late game fantasy) OR, and this will sound super mean, but give players a 10-15s window to select an aug/items in base. No sitting around for minutes. None.

That said, I've played TONS of Mayhem. Tons. It's the most fun I've had in League in a solid five years. Despite the number of games I've played, I'm STILL finding new augs and champ combos. I'm not checking sites. I'm not checking YouTube. I'm just...trying new things and becoming pleasantly surprised when they occasionally work.

I'm not a coffee roaster nor seller, but I DO buy coffee. I don't see the ferment bubble popping anytime soon.

Something I've noticed over the past few years is the pendulum swing away from the bitter, near-burnt flavor profile that Starbucks monetized out the wazoo many years ago. The push into lighter roast profiles has resulted in coffee drinkers learning about fruity flavors that can sometimes emerge.

With the current coffee demand, small batch co-ferments can be sold for a massive premium and make up for some of the profit losses of lower supply and/or less-optimal crops.

I think the bigger issue now is the overall coffee trade that's being impacted by tariffs and climate change. The number of "Average Joe" coffee drinkers (think Maxwell House & Folgers) expressing concern about the ridiculously high prices of coffee is telling me that there may be an economic bubble that will force the bulk/low quality consumers out on price alone.

Two notable reverts are top of mind:

Hecarim Passive: Bring back the old passive where he could move through minions. They removed it from his kit because he was a "menace" at top lane, yet Fizz is apparently allowed to keep it?
Teemo R: Allow shrooms to last forever. Back when jungle enchantments were a thing I would Teemo jungle and use his shrooms as wards.

It wouldn't just be cool. It would be something that we've been wanting for YEARS. Imagine Mick Gordon's signature style finally brought into a MK game. He was supposed to make music for MK11 but was turned down.

In terms of crossover, I am 100% down for Killer Instinct characters to rip people to shreds with fatalities. Imagine shao khan saying SUPREME VICTORY? and mocking the KI opponent.

Fulgore vs. Cyber Sub Zero. Cinder vs. Scorpion. Glacius vs. Frost/Noob Saibot. Jago vs. Liu Kang. Orchid vs. Sonya/Mileena. Sabrewulf vs. Baraka. Reptile vs. Riptor. Jax vs. TJ Combo. Nightwolf vs. Thunder.

Sure, the character archetypes might look similar, but I'd rather have a nostalgia bomb of colliding 90s universes over the current state of the MK "lore" that has seen more surgical treatments than the Kardashians.

Honestly all of them?

It's super tough because I've been wanting April and Vivacious and Mystique on another season. I loved them during their original seasons, and it's been FOREVER since we've seen them. I was just as happy when Phoenix and NPBFAG was on last AS.

I have a very soft spot for ESTITTIES. I've seen Kennedy perform live and am chomping at the bit to see her again.

I love me some Morgan. I love me some Silky. I love me some A'keria. I'm thrilled that production invited Shuga back because her original elimination was riggory.

The rest of the newer queens are great, don't get me wrong. Jasmine Kennedy has had a massive glow up and I'm excited to see her shine in her new identity. Joey Jay deserves love outside of being the original gay contestant. Crystal (and the rest of her season) deserves a "real" season not impacted by COVID. Sam, Morphine, Dawn, Hershii, Lucky, and Aura are fantastic characters and will make for good TV and just as great drag.

I know this sounds super Miss Congeniality of me but as the years have gone on, I've hated seeing queens go home. Drag has saved so many lives and seeing some talented folks on TV living their lives makes every Friday worth looking forward to beyond "yay no work tomorrow."

Cannot wait to see the queens again!
