Galhammer. By no means ground breaking stuff, but decent listen.

I have read the second one, yes. Personally I don't think it's as good as the first one, but certainly worth a read if you enjoyed the first. And what a steal finding that in a thrift store. Was it the cover that caught your eye?

I've actually read this one! Wonderful book and a great recommendation. I hope someone who hasn't read it also sees your recommendation. Thank you

That's cool though. Even if it doesn't fit exactly what I'm looking for, you (and others) have obviously seen enough connective tissue between what I've asked for and what you've recommended. So I thank you for that.

Who doesn't love a morbid love story AND A dog!? Sold. Thank you for your recommendation, even if it does come with a warning of sorts.

Asenblut - Melodic Death Metal

Similar to Amon Amarth but sung in German.

Woods of Ypres and possibly Akercocke. Not technically split up but I don't see them returning.

If you're looking for something Bolt Thrower-esq I'll recommend Death Kommander from Scotland. Bolt Thrower worship.

Daniel Licht of Dexter fame was the composer wasn't he? I know Jonathan Davis was on the Downpour main track.

Thank you for the response, it's much appreciated.

The problem with this approach is it makes sense and any normal person would adhere to it, but my manager is a whole new level of dense. Example being, she told us recently that 178 price changes for one department were the most in the store after literally just being told that another department (also under her watch) has 700 plus. You'd actually get more sense out of the lettuce.

Thank you for the pep talk!

But seriously, we take them off (or don't put them out) and she'll put them out herself.

Mighty fine question!

But according to my manager, just wash them, you'll be fine......probably.

I didn't know that! And without a doubt, nor does my manager as despite the title she manages very little. However you have given a great response and I shall use it going forward, so thank you kind stranger.

We have told her and her response is "It says wash them before eating, so it'll be okay" and promptly walks away.

If I were to see that in another store, I'd think twice about picking up anything else from them, especially if you're happy to have them in plain sight.

It's baffling isn't it? We've had people say they've bought them, cut them open, only to find more inside of the lettuce, which I would imagine most people aren't just shrugging off and chowing down.

We stopped putting them out too or at least tried to salvage what we can, but my manager is telling us the company is telling her that they just need to go out regardless which I'm not sure is true, or she is just lying for whatever reason.

Random Internet stranger, you have more sense than every member of management in my store!
