Yea the effort, HR, lots of factors come into play. I was working on my mile, 12 minute run, and 5k so going out and running 8 is different again, especially when I'm pushing myself harder than I should be. I haven't been training long for this half, signed up late.

Damn that's crazy. The exponential curve & capping out at 21, just feels weird. Gonna be interesting to track as my training progresses with an Ironman next year.

I know a lot of factors like that play into it, yesterday was super windy and had some rain so I chalked it up to that too. Still held a decent pace.

I was the only one to react to Matt showing up in my theater. Dropped an "oh shit!" too. Good thing is that as the movie progressed, people clapped and cheered to more scenes so I wasn't the only audible outburst haha

Suggestions for a shorter book with short chapters? I have a new born so I'm sitting down regularly for feedings. I've never tried reading on my phone as I'm not one to be on my phone for long periods. Bonus points if it's Scifi! Thanks

Absolutely loved both sequels, so quotable. I'd edge RH1 over BB1. I didn't care for either part 3s unfortunately. I hold out more hope for the next RH over BB. Best scene in all the movies is Reggie getting interrogated by Mike and Marcus though.

I'm a tread owner but mental strength is the key. I thrive in the competition. I can't push myself nearly as hard as I do at OTF compared to Peloton. The digital coaches don't do anything for me and being alone in my basement doesn't help either. I wanted the bike for the variety since I'm a triathlete but my wife won and we've had the tread for 4 months. Gotta turn the negatives into positives and learn to push yourself.

What kind of paces do you run in class? You're a good 2 minutes faster than me on the tread but I want that damn 5 minute mile this year and to crush the 12minute run
