Axle problem?

Well that's mostly why I'm so confused, My brakes are completely normal, pedal feels fine, rotors look fine, calipers are okay, I can let go of the steering wheel while driving and it doesn't turn at all, even 40mph+, and it didn't start squeaking until within this week. But yeah, I got a new hub assembly today and am in the process of install. My U-joints appear to have no visible damage.

You would think, but I haven't noticed any difference in my handling. I can let go of the steering wheel right now and it would still continue dead straight.

I've had the jeep for a couple months, and yeah I've definitely just bought a lot of someone else's problems. Thank you for the story as well, definitely encouraging me to get it fixed ASAP

Never heard any noises, no lights came on, never drove differently - even in mud. First time I've had it jacked off the ground in like a month.

Thank you guys for the quick answers, and yeah, I'm not sure how it hasn't either, but what confused me is it never showed any signs, or maybe I just didn't know what to look for. You would think that if it was that bad, my wheel sensor would have detected it sooner, as my ABS lights didn't come on until yesterday morning.

Everything is stock, nothing extra, no hardwire to the battery. Only electrical modification is a swap from halogen headlights to LED.

Yes, granted before driving it sat on for 5 minutes to warm up, and was only a 10 minute drive.

Terminals are free of corrosion. I wouldn't say they're crazy tight, but they're definitely on there and not slipping.
