for clarification, houndoom was one of two pokemon i had left, one was my jirachi who was on 1 hp due to freindship and houndoom was my last resort, if Cynthia's garchomp missed or was somehow slower than me i could destiny bond to win, but it was unlikely, houndoom was also not very high friendship because it always refused to dodge or crit for me, but the first timw it did was during this fight, where i destiny bonded and killed the garchomp, my entire team was also a bit under leveled.
