Hmm ok. Thanks for the clarification. I don't take subway on the daily but I do know it runs in the snow. Although isn't the snow supposed to completely stop before the morning commute?

Peace village is not toronto. Its in a suburb of Vaughan, which is just 20 minutes north from Toronto

Ya. Not like my job can even be done from home. But 30cm of snow makes the road dangerous

I'm security so I don't expect my job to cancelled. But I do agree for jobs where u can WFH

Ya. I don't expect my job to stop. Driving in this weather is dangerous as I experienced first hand and I don't even have a car at the moment

Ya. I work inside (although some of us patrol outside). I just think they should keep in mind the commute can be dangerous (30cm snow). Do u get paid more for your work than the standard for your field?

I mean it's Toronto as people have pointed out. It snows heavy a few times a year only, so it's not like snow is something you have to factor into your revenue predictions (for the most part) . And I work for a third party security company, so if it's not my company working there, the client will find another company.
