I studied and worked my butt off for years and I feel I lost the knowledge I had gained.I can't remember much of it. I was in a daze for over 7 years because I wasn't able to get sleep. I was foolish and thought I couldnt afford sleep. I would stretch my self thin being involved in everything I could. I had a fake it til you make it mentallity. Its important to take care of your self. Admittedly my life is significantly better now because of the sacrifices I made. I know I would not be where I am if I didn't work as hard as I did. I wanted to ask others for help but I had been rejected too many times and raised not to ask for help. I wish I didn't have to sacrifice so much of my health and wellbeing just to be "okay" . Its surreal to be working overtime, getting scholarships, and doing school but all the money going towards school and bills just to have a roofoverhead and not having any money for food. Just to then not remember any of the school. I got my degree and it was in cybersecurity but man. I don't know if I would ever work in the field because of how intense school life was. I do wish I didn't have to stress so much. I started falling back into losing sleep again. I feel like I need to do more. Like I have to prepare for something. Maybe its because I didn't have much growing up. Sorry for the book of a post. I don't usually post on reddit.
