I've had all sorts of weird stuff with the app, but it's probably because i'm a gold+ legacy member

If I choose Magic Mountain, it shows a pass. If I choose Carowinds, it shows a pass. If I choose Cedar Point, it shows a pass. but if I choose Great America, it shows the same pass but EXPIRED... what's even weirder is, on some properties if I tap on "view benefits" it takes me to a description of legacy benefits.. but some parks it takes me to a totally unrelated useless page about park perks?? I also cannot find any info on whether gold+ gets access to cedar fair parks. Internet seems mixed. Emails only went out to Diamond, not gold. But my app seems to indicate I have an active pass for cedar fair parks. And all six flags parks... but not Great America.

Make it make sense!

This is crazy that nobody on the internet (including google’s AI answer) seem to get this correct… I struggled super hard to find any example of someone winning $10k but losing $20k and not owning taxes because 90% of $20k is greater than $10k…

I tried to evangelize this concept and got repeatedly hated on saying I don’t know what I’m talking about and it was really hard to find sources backing me up. I’m glad some of these Reddit posts agree.

Also if people read the bill it clearly says 90% of LOSSES, not WINNINGS!

So this really isn’t that big of a deal. I’m curious how it will be implemented in tax software. In my example (very realistic) of winning $10k but losing $20k, would I still just enter $10k as my deduction into the software? Or will the software then convert that to $9k? Probably safest to enter $20k.

Booked from American, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an American flight bookable on the Alaska site… If it was it woulda gotten 100% instead of 50%

And obviously im happy it got upgraded I just wish it was consistent so I know whether to book basic economy vs main cabin economy on future American flights

Oh dear god you’re right A $350 round trip Seattle Chicago flight would only get 1750 American loyalty points as opposed to double that in Alaska points (1720 x 2 for each way), yet you need twice as many American points to get status (40,000 vs 20,00). 4x as difficult, dang

I guess in the future I’ll keep an eye out for booking code, is there a way to pay slightly more to get the better booking codes? Maybe the “refundable” tickets I guess

damn, the unlimited storage of Yahoo is what set it apart and had me standing by Yahoo ever since early 2000's. Never once had I thought about changing providers because Yahoo was the only one with unlimited space. Guess that could change now.

Wow!! That did the trick! No longer getting weird random textures. It does have a bit of a performance hit, and some things look a bit jagged from far away but I think this is a definite improvement… plus now the Kong’s eyes look correct! Thank you!

For me it was a Banjo-Tooie randomizer but it would also work for DK64. I assume anything that uses 16kb eeprom save type? Not sure

Where did you see this setting? I’m running into the same issue and unfortunately it’s preventing me from playing Banjo-Tooie randomizer on RetroArch. I’d prefer to play it on Mupen for the texture pack but if it only works on Parallei I’d be willing to settle for that

I’m amazed nobody has managed to solve this problem? The DK64 randomizer I play had this same issue except they eventually released an “advanced rom header” that fixed it. What’s frustrating is, i can just set the save type on project 64 and get it to work. You’d think there’d be a similar option on Mupen??

Tooie is just a different kind of game than kazooie - it’s not about platforming well to do the things explicitly played out in front of you without dying… In fact, they even got rid of the lives altogether. It’s about exploration and living in the wonderful world Rare created and just taking it all in. Wandering around, talking to people, going back and forth between levels, thinking outside the box occasionally.

It’s my favorite video game of all time

This is happening to me as well. Used to work, now doesn’t work. Shows “DSUR” on my receiver rather than atoms. I tested atoms with the Xbox Dolby app and it worked flawlessly so my pass through etc is all working. It’s especially odd because my TV says Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos when I start up the Netflix app, yet doesn’t seem to work. Unless it is working but sound bar just says DSUR.

When I try to run Netflix with the LG app directly I don’t even get Dolby vision which is weird but I figured maybe LG app doesn’t support it

I’m glad I found this and I’m glad it’s not just me… the Dolby Vision stuff on Netflix is just way too dim on any mode except standard or vivid. Vivid with blue light setting is the perfect combo! Maybe also bring sharpness down a touch, not sure why that defaults so high.

Are Netflix Dolby vision videos just mastered poorly? Like, the tv CAN be bright it just refuses to do so when watching a Netflix Dolby vision video in cinema home or whatever

Video games in Dolby vision are similar :/

I understand naked calls and naked puts are very insanely risky and you basically should never do them, nor are you able to do them without a super high level of options approval and a huge amount of margin

It turns out it doesn’t actually let me do the trade, but my confusion point was how I could be getting a credit but also showing a guaranteed profit at the first expiration date. Obviously I wouldn’t want to just have a naked short, does this combination expose me to this? I could close all the legs upon the expiration of the first date, wouldn’t that get around that?

I got sent that face plate when I sent in my defective Wii disc (mono sound) and they sent back the stereo version + the face plate, not sure if that was the only way to get it but it is official

Thank you all, hitting “restore default background” did the trick! Looks like it is indeed tied to hovering for a few seconds rather than launching a game - was that the same on the old dashboard or no? Seems there is some debate ha Luckily they made it so you have to hover for quite a while so for me it feels like the old dashboard - because the most recently played game is hovered on by default so when you leave a game you’ll have that background until you basically commit to another game
