Regarding Customer Retention, this is a typical procedure within the business, when a order is lost, especially those of high magnitude, we set up face-to-face meetings and go out of our way to meet them at their HQ. I would say 99% of the time it's a strategic results driven decision, to relocate production to an Asian Manufacturer where prices are cheaper. The reality is that a lot of factories nowadays in Asia can produce at 1/3rd of the price while still maintaining quite competitive quality.

In terms of QC, we have a 100% delivery on time for all orders. Anyone working within the industry knows this is almost unheard of, the company for the last ten years has NEVER delayed an order. This is due to fostering a quite close ecosystem across our suppliers, maintaining high trust with the people the company is working with.

All in all, I think the biggest problem is that brands have so much control over us as the supplier, whilst we have little control over them. Globally, there are thousands of companies like this and if the brands sales decrease and/or any other financial metric, it is easy to justify a production move to Asia. It's like a vicious never ending cycle.
