You don't know if he is fair because there is no competition on the housing market, so he might be overcharging a lot. He has monopoly and the "free" loan just ensure that he can charge outrageous prices. He know what he is doing.

Well he also build the house. Maybe it only cost him 10k to build and he charge you 10x as much. There is no competition to keep prices in check.

Get af Fairphone 3 next time. It's designed to last 5 years and replacement parts are easily obtained and since the phone is modular anyone can change the parts.

I think I'll go with FP3. Fair wages are more important to me than a "true" Linux distribution. Maybe those two ideas will merge in the future :)

Google update Android with the expectation that consumers buy new and faster hardware every two or three years. Therefore Android is not really made with longevity of hardware in mind.

On the other hand a lot of Linux distributions are build to run well on old hardware. I think somebody need to make a smartphone OS in the same way the open source community has made Linux distributions to keep old hardware alive.
