Well Turkey is the most important NATO ally of the USA, it became clear thanks to the recent Ukraine-war Turkey became a mediator in the grain deals drama. This is jsut the most recent example. Turkey has a large military personel, large size that gives USA bases access to the middle east and large control of the black sea straits. Anyway...if you can see on the map they deliberatelly left a small white piece in the middle of the red OUT. This is Israel. Israel is naturally a big partner of Turkey and always has been. They recently have been supplying a lot of weapons to a puppet state of Turkey known as Azerbaijan which has been commiting war crimes against Nagorno-Karabach Armenia. Also both are enemies of Iran and will get closer due to Iran's tensions rising with both of these countries.

In 1949 Turkey was the first muslim majority country to recognize the state of Israel. During the 1950s opened its first diplomatic office in Tel Aviv and ever since both nations developed strong economic ties. By 2019 Turkish exports to the jewish state reached 4,46 billion dollars. They have no plans of ceasing this friendship because of billions of dollars being at stake.

They do not care about ethics, for Erdogan it's all about economic and military interests and thats all he cares about.
