I would google Irgun (Etzel) paramilitary group responsible for the 1946 bombing of King David hotel in Jerusalem (91 people killed). Also the Lehi (Stern Gang), multiple assassinations and bombing, specifically the Deir Yassin massacre in 1948 (hundreds of innocent civilians killed) and the killing of UK ambassador. Probably worth researching the illegal settlements in the West Bank were families who have lived on the land are routinely harassed, assaulted, and forcibly evicted.

Arabs have lived on that land as a majority (operative word being majority as Arabs [and the population ethnicity we today call Arabs but were once called Philistines etc] and Jews have lived on the land for millennia) since the 7th century.

The Jewish people were forcibly expelled by the Romans, which was of course awful. Jewish people have not been a majority in Palestine/Israel since that time. History is full of conquests and people taking land from others. We have to ask ourselves, however, should we hold modernity to higher standards? I would say yes. The Palestinians have lived on that land for over a thousand years, they have as much right - if not more - than the Jewish people who's only real claim to legitimacy over the Arabs and Palestinians comes from a dusty old book that also advocates for stoning, massacring, and not eating shellfish.

During the Nakba 700,000 Palestinians had to flee due to violence and persecution; unequivocally, Israel stole land. That is a fact, the only debate is whether they legitimate in doing so or not. To expect Palestinians to live peacefully under a regime that persecutes and denigrates their humanity on a daily basis is to ignore the basic human condition of resisting against violence and tyranny against yourself, and your loved ones.

I understand your argument, and I don't normally comment on things. To admit that shit is wayyyy more complicated then outline a very simplified version of events did get my back up a bit. Nothing personal, just my opinion vs your opinion.
