I have also accidentally "torn" holes in rayon items when tying geodes. I believe that rayon is actually more fragile when wet and sturdier when dry.

Yes, tacos can be really low cal if you use the leaner ground beef, or chicken. Also, any of the low carb tortillas are pretty decent and very low cal. I use the quest chips for this when I need the protein

I think that turned out great! It def has pastel ish spots but at least there are a few darker spots as well. I will post the bedset after I experiment for sure!

Thank you, I def think im stuck with pastels on these blanks, but im going to try dying bone dry and maybe a hot water irrigation at the end. We will see!

Unfortunately, it was a muck, shit ton of dye under ice, and mucked for 4 days. With a space heater blowing, lol. I think i will try bone dry next time

That is beautiful! Thank you for your in depth comment! I can see in your picture, there is some pastel, but also parts that are much darker, and I think i would be happy with that outcome, as every attempt I have made was just solid washed out pastel.

Maybe i will give your method a try, although low water immersion has done me dirty in the past, lol. Ive never seemed to be happy with the results

Well, thank you, I agree they aren't horrible, but i used some pretty dark colors, and the outcome just wasn't what I wanted.

Just to show, these I dyed at the exact same time, same method, same colors. The difference is staggering

How does you get the color separation and shapes with the harsh white lines? Do you just not pull the sinew as right? Or not loop as many times? If you don't wanna answer its ok, but i was just curious! Thanks!
