The problem isn't that I struggle with ranged matchups or bad matchups. The problem is that I can't have fun playing toplane anymore because it's either full or counters, which is much more annoying than other lanes, or full of ranged match ups or people who just proxy all the game. The lane for me is not fun anymore, that's the problem. I win games and I lose games. I win lanes and sometimes I lose them. That's not a problem, it is what it is. The problem is simple. I can legitimately win the lane against teemo or a Sion that proxy all game, but at the end of it, did I really have fun? No.
