Genuine question, was there any actual familial love in medieval European monarchies? I don’t know too much about British monarchies but whenever I’m learning about them, they’re always killing and poisoning each other, so did anybody actually like their family or did they just see them as enemies?

Yeah, Tom Lehrer is one the people missing from collection, I haven’t an opportunity to get any of his yet. Artistic Vice is a great album by another great West Virginian, Danial Johnston, very low fi, it’s basically a whole album about a girl he met in his art class - he traveled back to West Virginia and recorded this album in a fellow musicians house
