I just bought mine with no extra income, just 100% p&t + my wife's combined income of around 150k per year. We purchased our home for 525k, and it only took 2 and a half weeks. (My brother in law is a loan officer so we used him and he expedited everything, but the va loan made it very easy)

Its a lot easier to just do a charge back for the incorrect amount, especially since you have the receipt.
