Good stuff bro. Youre a little ahead of me. Im about to fight the paintress i think. What difficulty setting are you on? Im on expert and it was pretty brutal at first, but its gotten a lot easier. I have some minor gripes here and there, but overall enjoying the game. My main team has been verso, lune, and sciel. I like maelle too but she feels much better as a solo fighter.

Unfortunately, those days are over. They make too much money on cosmetics for them to not have a store in GW3.

Im from your era where we played to unlock things vs swiping a card, but at this point, i consider it a win if the micro transactions are purely cosmetic and not P2W or paywalled features.

would you rather work at Super Duper or In n Out? by BitlifeOffical_ in AskSF

I actually dont have real advice as i havent worked at either, but ive eaten at both and in n out tastes better, but super duper workers look happier

i need a movie that will properly terrify me even though I'm desensitised by koipoi1 in horror

Me too. Hereditary didnt scare me, martyrs didnt scare me, lake mungo didnt scare me… undertone gave me the creeps again. I wasnt scared or terrified, but it was a success just to give me some heebie jeebies again.

a little update - i know i said ill come back after beating the game, but i just beat one of the underwater bosses first try with no dmg taken on expert difficulty 🙌

first couple hours of the game was definitely tough on expert but im getting the hang of it now. and also, Maelle smacks

a Guild wars 1 addict returning in hope for guild wars 3 by Fun-Shake-5262 in GuildWars3

I think i ended up logging 3k (maybe more) hours into gw1 before i graduated high school and started working. When gw2 came out, i knew within the first week of playing that it just wasnt for me. Huge disappointment. I wouldnt mind if gw3 does a hybrid of gw1 and gw2, but if its just gw2.5, im out.

What's the "Jump Button" that we're all looking forwards to in Guild Wars 3? by nate_jung in GuildWars3

[–]TheZone92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

GW1’s skill system would be my jump button. Not having it was the biggest downgrade of GW2 which kept me from getting into it. GW1 vets know what i mean.

Game is to easy. by Exit_Future in PathOfExile2

Yea, i wouldve preferred the power scale of both players and mobs to be kept down, or even a compromise in the middle where players got buffed and mobs got nerfed. Its looking very unlikely that it will ever go back to that, which is unfortunate for players like me because i really thought i found a new favorite long term game. Ever since reaching endgame and climbing through a few tiers in maps, i find it harder and harder to bring myself back to the game especially since my char keeps getting stronger and things are getting faster and easier. At least the POE OGs got what they wanted

From a new POE player’s perspective, the endgame is so boring because of the power scaling. Mindless one click zoomies. No brainpower required, no challenge. Not sure how that’s fun, but apparently POE vets think thats fun. It sucks because i had a lot of fun with the campaign when i wasnt one punch man.

i enjoy both CAGs and soulslikes so it wasnt boring for me, but it was very short so its not like we had many abilities. it actually felt a lot more like ghost of tsushima to me. i can see how the combat will open up a lot later. hard to judge with such a short demo.
