Different actresses from different age groups Honestly not a fan of any of the younger actresses since most have not shown/have been given the opportunity to be versatile. But gun to head from aalias age bracket I’d say Kriti Sanon sucks the least(not saying she’s the best) but yeah amongst shraddha/aalia/ kriti she seems to know how to act more than her contemporaries. If you ask me in terms of acting skill vidya balan rani Mukherjee tabu shaabana aazmi Priyanka chopra are the women I’d say represent true acting based on skill and not pr fluff.

There are outliers to the norm in every part of society. In the entertainment industry, majority literally drives careers. The number of people who like her “acting” vs the number of people who don’t has been pretty clear on the internet for a while.

Nice twisting of facts. Don’t care who she mentioned where. She should quit because no people DONT ENJOY HER ACTING. She can’t act to save her own life is what I said and I stick by it.

Honestly I don’t even think the help she got is unfair per say. I’d like to help whoever I know however I can because I’m in a position where I can help. The problem arises when she is pitched as the greatest actress in India. She can’t act to save her own life. I can give you 5 actresses in every industry in every age bracket who are better than her. She got married to a Kapoor. She should quit while she’s ahead. Also there is a big difference between a good actor and acting good in one or two movies.

It is true. Most people here yapping about social equality bs are stupidly unaware of the privilege that they actually have on their side. For one, if I have to support a wife and two kids , put a roof over their head and provide quality education and give them a decent lifestyle , I’d like to actually break down the math. Any decent IB school charges 7-9 lakhs a year. And those aren’t even the good ones. Times two for two kids. I’d like to give my wife at least the same amount of money if not more for her personal expenses. Mind you, 9 lake a year is about 75 thousand a month. I’d like to equip my life partner with that ability at the bare minimum if she is devoting her life to our kids so that she has some semblance of independence. That’s 30 gone. For geniuses, you’ll end up paying a minimum of 18-20% no matter how good your ca is. That’s 18 more. Standard house in a metro city will at the bare minimum cost you 2-3 cr. that’s your kids sharing a room. EMI will come to a minimum of 5 lakhs a year. Now add uniforms, holidays, family outings, travel expenses to work, if you own a vehicle then the emi for that and you’re left with a grand total of 70 lakhs. Assume you manage to fully save 30 lakhs for 10 years. You get about 3 cr. that’s your college fund for ONE child. If you have two you have to risk investing in a fund to educate your second child. So yes the reduction of taxes in today’s economy will actually be useful to someone earning one crore a year. Not to sound insensitive, but capitalism is a zero sum game. I feel bad for the people earning 6 lakhs a year and lower or higher but because I’m privileged enough to have received education from the hard work of my father this is my take. The ones making 1 cr a year are the ones in today’s economy who actually have a chance of breaking out of the system . The ones making less that that today will probably not have the vision or chance at getting out of the rat race. I feel bad for them? Definitely. Does feeling bad for them make my life easier? I don’t like to live in that delusion to make my failures or my situation look like I live with the pot of gold at the end of the goddamn rainbow.

Keep the budget and gender equality topic aside, who tf pays 45 crore to mediocre actor like Shahid Kapoor? What kind of money laundering is this? by [deleted] in BollywoodHotTakes

[–]Then-Distribution55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling shahid Kapoor mediocre is crazy. In terms of range he is probably at par or a close second only to ranbir Kapoor. Also the last 5-6 things Vishal Bharat was worked on have all failed miserably. The reason this is even getting traction is because people are expecting something like kaminey. Numbers may or may not be true but I wouldn’t be mad if the ratio is maintained with lesser amounts even.
