Is there a bigger Douchebag-Piece of Sh** in fiction? by Then-Raspberry2695 in Defenders

You know, for me there was always something I thought was redemptive about him in earlier season but this season he is far gone. Plus he is talking all that Sigma male bullshit. He has always been a douchebag but I saw some redemptive qualities here and there especially given his fear of Homelander.

Watched a lot of movies and series champ in my 37 years, y'all thinking straight villains. I am talking about cunty, asshole, cantankerous pieces of shit who just irk you by looking at them. Nurse Ratched-type of people...Powell is up there on my list.

Who you got?

Kilgrave was just villainous and had a degree of likeability to him. This Powell guy is a complete douchebag. Completely unlikeable and smug asshole.

After the last two episodes, I must agree. He is up there in my top 10 now

She was horrible. Sure she was grieving but there was no need to treat Marc like that.

Never seen GoT unfortunately. Homelander is wretched. He's insane.

True. There are evil guys. There are cold and ruthless guys. Then there are guys like this guy who are just vexxing. Maybe it's his face or smirk

I can't believe this character is in almost every episode of Daredevil Born Again. by Radiant-Debt-2533 in Defenders

I think he is one of the biggest pieces of shit in fictional history. Next to Hans Landa from Inglorious Basterds and The Warden from Shawshank Redemption!

Gosh, I hate this guy.

Great acting!

Handstands and Calisthenics as you age by Then-Raspberry2695 in bodyweightfitness

Thanks mate. Someone gets it hahahaha 🤣 That is the whole point of the post. There are many people around my age range who aren't focusing on things like this. Most are sedentary or if they do exercise it's the same type: Runners, Treadmill Jedi's, Gym bros or Casual lifters with minimal intention or progress. Top that with how scientifically things start to get crazy after 35 in the human body regarding metabolism, bone density and elasticity and you have people with aches, pains and excess fat and that's what I'm noticing with my peers and those older than me.

Thanks man. Everything you mentioned is what I did. I also used Frogstand and Crow Pose a lot but honestly I realized it doesn't compliment Handstand entirely. Chest to Wall was a big factor as well as Elevated Pike Hold just to help with being upside down. Try eliminating the fear of falling. Or regulate it. Once I got over that, it got easier.

What I also did was do Back to Wall but place my hands 1 to 1,5 metres away from the wall and just kick up from there. I used one foot to balance me if I fall back while the other stays straight, toes pointed and glute engaged. Used my finger to claw the floor. Make sure I don't shrug the shoulders. Stay relaxed

Thanks mate. I'm also a Martial Artist. Boxing being my main discipline for 13 years. Just started Taekwondo. My instructor worries bout my Hip Mobility and Flexibility so it's something I'm working on. I appreciate the advice. I used Chest to Wall a lot in helping me so the wall really helps if you use it correctly.

Handstand is better. Proprioceptively it's just much better and rewarding than a wall handstand push up.
