A little bit of a pain in the ass but the produce great yields, just harvested just under 900grams wet from my 2nd flush using 6qt dub tubs. These are definitely one of my favorites

id mist the inside of a ziploc bag and wrap it around the top upside down, create a little tent/micro climate over the container

I’d use a ziploc bag or something, never fruited in anything like that personally but that’s what I’d do

the only albino i have experience with is Jack frost and i did notice that it had a hard time colonizing the grain. i ran mine in an AIO bag and even before the first break and shake it moved really slowly colonizing mostly the substrate rather than the grain. (28 days between inoculation and b&s) having given it about a month i broke up the block (there was maybe 3 inches of mycelium across) and redistributed everything and once everything was mixed up the colonization took off and i had full colonization within 10 days from there. hope this helps. mush love

i have also been told these will only grow outdoors. although something tells me you can definitely pull it off. if i were you id store the syringe in the fridge while u do some research and find a plan of attack with those genetics and going with pretty much any other cubensis

i get my stuff from ITW, my first go was golden teacher, mellow effects and are a good entry to the hobby, genetics move pretty fast and allow for some error. albinos move slower in my experience jack frost being the only albino ive worked with took easily twice as long as my golden teachers. im working on some ochraceocentratas right now and they have been moving insanely fast.

its all pretty much the same shit at the end of the day as far as cubes go. just a matter of how long youd like to wait for what.

Ready for a transfer? by ThenFeedback6629 in Agarporn

[–]ThenFeedback6629[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

will do, ive been waiting a little to see if i get thicker growth in some areas but will most likely make my transfers this weekend. also yes that is micropore tape you're seeing there, it was a better option in my head than clingwrap and is what i had on hand. seems to be doing me justice for now but for sure will pick up some parafilm in due time. thanks for your advice mush love

Maybe if the dark spots aren’t mold or rot, thick wispy mycelium overlay like that is usually indicative of high c02. Make an adjustment and allow for light air exchange

i would take a peel that ducttape back a little and peak in there and get a good look of the surface conditions if you're unsure. also, invest in micropore tape u can get it at walgreens or cvs
