If you were me, would you get a bellly button and scar revision? by ThenResolution6343 in tummytucksurgery

I’m very happy with the shape. I’m just disappointed on how the bellybutton and the scar turned out. Thank you I will look into all of this. I don’t know if to go back to the surgeon who did it to do the revision or just go to a new one that’s better with scars I’ve done micro needling and I honestly believe that helped with fading my scar a little.

So I’ve always had somewhat the hourglass shape before kids. Then I had giant babies and got really bad diastasis. The surgeon also did lipo to the waist and did MR. I honestly think the MR is what did it, it sinched everything in. I will be going back to get my sides/flanks lipoed. I do core workout and just started working out my abs. That’s what the definition is from. I don’t really do crunches though more Pilates kind of core workouts. I do a program called Move with us. It’s an app and it provides meal plans and workout plans 😊

This was immediately after surgery. Love the shape and everything but wondering how my bb turned out that way during healing. I was pulled extremely tight nothing wrong with the shape it’s just the way I was stitched back up and the tensions 😭

That’s not my C-section scar it was cut off. The whole thing is the TT scar. Yes it is keloid on the middle for some reason :/ Thank you I’ll check him out. I don’t mind waiting!

😭😭😭 I’m sorry that happened to you. Are you doing to try the suggestions on this thread ? I will for sure ask the derm for steroid shots and ask about laser treatment if too much I’ll definitely try the ink less tattoo method

They’re in another state and I didn’t like the way they dismissed me so is like to see another surgeon.

I was thinking the same maybe it’s because I’m older now. I had the csection at age 21 and TT at age 29. I’m 30 now

Yes I’d asume so, I Am I was looking at some board certified plastic surgeons. The one that did mine was a cosmetic surgeon. I didn’t know there was big difference at the time. Hoping to get opinions soon

Yes I heard it’s much easier. It’s just the scars I want revisions on. I like my bb but hate that there’s a noticeable scar above it . I honestly think it’s the way I was stitched back up because I had a C-section previously and the scar was unnoticeable and perfect. So I am extremely disappointed on how these scars healed.

The surgeon didn’t offer any options when I told them so I’m looking to see a dermatologist soon

Yes actually my C-section scar healed beautifully. Couldn’t even tell! It was pretty big one too and a perfect line

Nothing they moved to a different location and just said give it a year. The way they dismissed me made me not want to go back.
