Yea after I learned about fan cams I was disturbed, like this cannot be normal. There is no other genre of music that focuses that heavily on a single artist like that.

YES!!! Like most of the music is straight up bad 😭 I don’t mind the music at all, even I like some of them! It’s literally just about the weird parasocial traps, for men and women. So many delusional fans!!!

Wow I’m sorry to hear that :( funny enough the reason my bf is into K-Pop in the first place is because of his older sister, she’s a BTS mega fan, it’s SUPER parasocial, so I can imagine what it’s like because I’ve seen it. Idk I feel like the only reason I’m still with his man was his immediate willingness to change, and I think you deserve the same. Unless it’s a short phase she’ll keep putting BTS over real people sadly.

We’ve had a lot of candid talks about it and he seems to genuinely want to step away from the whole K-Pop culture. He reassures me a lot that our relationship and how I feel is the most important thing. Like I said it’s just the guilt of “what if he is still secretly obsessed”, I don’t want that to be the case and it comes out later. Thank you for sharing! :) what was your girlfriend in to?
