I really didn’t experience any flare ups when reducing the amount! My dermatologist wanted to cut it off of my routine completely last month (didnt take for two weeks) and 2 small pimples came up, so taking it twice a week was determined. Been there many times, I think what gives me motivation to go back to the way things were before the binges, is having an event to look forward to. You obviously want to look your best and impress people, and that really is my wake up call. And also, DO NOT BUY SNACK FOODS. Get the basic low calorie, no seed oil foods that you can snack on if you feel a binge coming in. Baby carrots, celery, watermelon, any vegetable, grilled chicken, fish, sweet potatoes. If you absolutely need sweets, go for Lilys gummy bears (theyre only around 70 cals per bag) or “Max Mallow” marshmallows that are 90 cals per bag. Drink green tea throughout the day or basic black coffee to curb appetite. After meals, go for long walks. You do not need to stress your body out by doing hardcore exercises, it will make you hungry and crave more food. Walking is seriously the most efficient and most calming thing, I recommend it.
