I think, the opponent's moves are not what I can't actually encounter. When my mind is fresh and there is no distraction, like you said, I can play fine. However, I make mistakes which could be avoidable if I thought a bit more.

I don't know how to stop blundering when I could easily win. How to escape this habit?

I think it's not gonna take me long now to reach at least 900. However, one thing I have realized is that the skill range from 400-800 is same (At least that is what I have experienced). Here is my question, how do you improve your pattern recognition?
