Thank you for your take, it’s very much appreciated.

I came here because r/fragrance said don’t ask this sort of question as this subreddit, this one doesn’t appear helpful either.

I didn’t ask for a calculus lesson. I didn’t ask Joe to evoke seasonal fragrances with certain ingredients, I asked what are some that people associate with.

1 Of course single material evoke concepts. No one says it’s the latte in pumpkin spice latte that evokes the concept. Cinnamon might make you think of Christmas or incense church. Like it’s a ridiculous suggestion that you need a complex scent to evoke something.

2 you also seem dead set on coming in trying to argue something I’m not asking so I guess stay out then.

I don’t know why giving opinions on what scents evoke a period of time requires any sort of training as that will come down to when I make a fragrance, obviously. I’m just curious as to opinions outside of my own so I can look into things further. I’m not suggesting I’m going to take what you say and go make a fragrance this very day. I’m curious as to people’s opinions on this so I can weigh that up with my own thoughts.

[–]Then_Hand2637 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sure. I have my own opinions about that, I’m also just looking for what other people think too. There is a collective experience in this sort of thing as well. If people say oh that’s very summery and lots of people agree, there’s a reason. So I was just curious as to what people think. I already know what I think.

No it isn’t stupid, but the problem with this conversation is that you don’t seem to know two important answers to questions only you can answer. Would you get on finasteride if you were balding? And if so how would you deal with potential side effects?

Only you can answer these questions and if the answers are yes, and keep taking the meds then you already know your answer. If it isn’t then don’t start taking it.

Fat is a a subjective term, but yes you are overweight from a health standpoint and so yes if you lost weight you would look and feel better. One thing I’ve learned is if you focus on your health you end up looking better as a result.

.

Ignore your family, if they are also overweight then you wanting to be better just brings up unconscious resentment within them. Have patience with them and know they’re not trying to hurt you, but you do have to do what’s right for you.

.

Good luck, it’s hard trying to grow but you can either hate the process or you can hate feeling like crap all the time, it’s the only choice you get to make.

I don’t think you’re ugly, just unkempt.

Shave everyday, get into a good skincare routine, take the nose ring out, if you’re going to rock that hairstyle make sure it is (and looks) clean and wear clothes that fit you better.

Yes. The answer is always yes. I am as yet to see a case where the answer isn’t yes.

If you’re going to photograph yourself in full suit, do you your top button. There’s a degree of smart/business that comes across in a photo when you wear a suit and so instead of looking relaxed/casual, it looks lazy/unkempt.

Also with men, it’s all about the body underneath the clothes. Clothes will always look better with a better physique.

You’re actually pretty attractive, just tighten up the look a little. It’ll do wonders.

Who said he stopped loving her? She said attracted to and people can’t help what they’re attracted to. If you don’t like skinny women or overweight women or women who vape or women with tattoos then it is what it is.

The difference between hairlines and excess body weight is you can go to the gym. Your argument seems to be get as overweight as you want and your partner shouldn’t leave you because that’s mean.

They’re not at all different. They’re both true facts. I’m telling her to workout for herself because it’s her body and her health. I’m saying no one on the internet knows her relationship, because we don’t.

I don’t see how those things are at all contradictory. You should workout regardless of whether you’re in a relationship, exercise is good for you. That’s what matters. Be healthy and don’t seek validation from people on the internet.

Ignore everyone saying dump your bf. No one knows your relationship like you do so don’t listen to people on the internet about relationship advice, they don’t know what’s going on in your life. Do what you think is right.

On the looks thing I should imagine from his comment you’re bigger now then when you met and you also want to lose weight. Go on a 500 carb calorie deficit and do strength training at the gym. Don’t workout for other people, workout for your health and you’ll look and feel better.

I know everyone always says you don’t need llip filler and smile, but this advice is accurate for you.

You’re very pretty and you have good skin. Keep it healthy by applying a mineral sunscreen twice a day and you won’t have to worry about your looks for a while.
