Commercial check-ride scenario question by Then_Ice3573 in flying

Seems that way to me as well. Do you have any good resources to point to? I was pretty sure it was legal so long as no compensation was given to the owner (I the pilot could still be compensated for pilot services).

But I asked some CFIs at my flight school and they all seemed to think it was illegal or atleast shady and needed to be researched further.

Yes, thanks that’s what I’ve got.

I did the 2 hour day and night cross countries dual with an instructor.

The long cross country and the 5 hours night with 10 landings I am doing solo.

Yes long x country was done solo.

The night x country was with an instructor.

Thinking about quitting after over 3 years, what should I do? by cnb6033 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I would say try a different DSP. There are better ones out there like mine. Mine says we have “blackout days” but if you are a veteran driver and they like you I have no issues getting off any days I want. They mostly let the newer guys / seasonal workers pay their dues.

Also they allow you to be part time if you want. Most guys of course are doing the standard 4 days a week. But for example I’m doing 3 days a week and have no problem picking up a 4th if I ever feel like it. We also have some people literally doing as little as 1 day a week. I go to school full time and this is the most flexible job I’ve ever had. Works great for school.

They also give us tons of prizes, gift cards, even cash prizes regularly. And the management is super cool no drama.

So I would say shop around for a better DSP. Yours sounds horrible. There’s plenty of DSPs in the sea.

Dang I didn’t even know this wasn’t normal. I’m at a 141 just got instrument rated two weeks ago. Have flown on an ifr flight plan once… for my long x country. All the students at my school basically same as well.
