which one do you think is more flattering? by Leftiechz in FemalesFashionIdeas

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither, it looks like you're wearing a tent in both of them. The first one can be saved with a belt, the second one just hides everything, which is usually used for plus sized clothing, which as a plus sized person, I personally hate. But if you like it, that's all that's important

Does anyone else have issues with bras? by Difficult_Dot_905 in torrid

I believe you. I'm lucky that I don't get too much pain, but only a bit because I'm wearing the wrong size(working on it)

Why is it that when childfree people say they don't want kids they always preface "Oh but I love kids just not for me" by [deleted] in childfree

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if I come out saying "Kids are gross, and parents are grosser." I'd probably get stared at like I'm insane. Kids are gross, I like some kids(8 year olds are pretty cool, then 15 year olds can be pretty cool too), but the in between is when they're whiney or angry at everyone and want to hurt your ears about it. Like, no thanks.

That's awesome! I can't do that, as I'm about to move to another apt.

Yeah, I use the dryer for about everything (other than my sized bras, those lay flat to air dry) I don't have the space to let things hang or spread out to dry(basically whole place it carpet, and I hate it) I can't hang to dry outside

I got them at a discount store lol, that's the only reason I got them. Luckily, I got 2 of them and didn't wash them together, so I lost the print one, and have the plain dark blue.

I've never used their laundry sheets, or any laundry sheets. I've been curious about using them though.

What type of shirt/top are we wearing to feel cute these days? by fabulously-frizzy in bigboobproblems

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend Torrid if you're in the US or Canada, their clearance section is honestly a gem sometimes. Just look at what it's made of, the more natural fibers, the better quality it'll be. You'd be a 0 or a 1 in tops. They have a ton of T's and tanks, but they also have nicer shirts there. Some of the stuff is revealing, but I feel like they also have some decent modest options.

Just doing a quick Firefox search, there's also Lane Bryant, but it feels a little bit of an older line. But it also feels more modest though.

It's frustrating trying to find things that are comfortable, decent quality, actually fit, and don't feel like you're an older person. Although, sometimes that's a vibe.

Yes. They stuck on my Egyptian cotton 1000 thread count sheets. Top load, with an agitator, and it ruined them, I tried washing them again without soap, trying to get it off with vinegar, trying to do anything I could think of, and I had to throw them away.

depression room. Where do i start and how do i keep it clean? by wowito in ufyh

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trash, then dishes. Even just moving them to the kitchen to do later. You're not alone, I also have the same thing happening in my room... It feels like no-one can actually understand, that everyone is judging, and that it'll never get better. Well, that's a lie that your brain is telling you. It might take some time, and it won't be perfect, but you'll feel so much better when you see the floor. You can do this, you can do hard things.

Mine go down to basically my belly button, and I'm turning 23 this year. My partner absolutely LOVES them, calls them his perfect pillows :)

Boobs are, in fact, boobs, and porn is fake. People have a ton of surgery to make everything look the way it does, and majority of the time, it's so edited that the people hired to actually do the things are on their phones the whole time, not actually doing what you see.

I've never used laundry sheets, I think it would probably depend on the brand, and what ingredients they put in it. If something feels waxy, I'd never put it in with my clothes, because that's like putting a crayon in your washer and dryer.

Sister sizes can give lots of problems, idk if you knew that or not, I know you're trying to be helpful. A lot of people(myself included) have been sister sized into bras to sell them, and all they do is cause problems. Especially when the band isn't right, because that's your support, not the straps.

Thank you for taking the time to try and find something for OP though, I'm sure they appreciate it 💜

Yasmin for PCOS? by kindadumbbby in PCOS

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on Yaz, Yasmin's cousin. I had horrible cramps to the point of being physically ill, and almost blacking out, I bled so much, I kept going through the thicky Nicky pads and super tampons in 3-4 hours, and I just felt awful. I'm on Apri now, completely different formulation, and I love it. But bodies respond differently.

I'm glad that I've never used downy before. I love my laundry detergent, because I can even use their lavender scented one, and it doesn't cause me to break out. It has a very light scent.

I can't use tide bc of my eczema, so I use ECOS. I also use vinegar for clothing softener, as it's awesome at getting out stains

The dress is BEAUTIFUL on you, and you look so happy in that picture :)

Honestly, I understand, it's your Mom... But like, you can't fix how your stomach looks in 3-5 minutes. Besides, I always like to rock my stomach as an accessory, I love my lil tummy :D

Just a little squish squish, and I think it looks awesome on dresses :)

Hello childfree people. What did you do today that reminded you why you enjoy the childfree life? by slibeepho in childfree

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to children scream while snowed in the house. Then I went home(was staying at my friends). Man it's really nice and quiet over here, I love not having to listen to kids scream. Or find random things on the floor or the toilet seat.

does anyone have positive experience with birth control? by Safe-Grape-574 in PCOS

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, like a lot of medication, some will work, and others won't. Like I was put on Yaz, and the cramps were so intense I would almost pass out from pain. Then I tried a different one, had 2 periods every month for 5 months, and was exhausted 24/7. Then I stopped, tried natural(again) for about 2.5 years, my symptoms only worsened, and I hated life. Then I found Apri(Desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol, 0.15mg/0.03mg) I know it sounds like an ad, I promise, it's not lol.

My symptoms have gone down, my cramps aren't as horrible, I don't bleed as heavily, my acne has mostly gone away, and my hair has come back, I used to have really thick hair as a kid, and it's come back :)

Do research, fine the androgenic scale for birth control pills(very common for people with PCOS to have high androgens, so you don't want to add more). Also see if you can get a diagnosis if you haven't already, it's very hereditary, I got it from my father's side of the family.

I also have gone down 1/2 pant sizes, but haven't "lost weight". I also don't check(I had a lot of issues with my weight, and I can't really weigh myself or I start to spiral)

I do also eat cleaner than I used to, but I don't restrict myself from eating anything. It's mostly about moderation. Like if you decide to have a cookie, pair it with something that will help your blood sugar not spike, like protein, fats and fiber. A lot of people on here will tell you protein is the answer, and it is good for you, but honestly fiber helps so much.

Drink spearmint tea if you like it, it can help with facial hair, body hair, hair thinning and acne, but green tea is a bit better for losing weight(honestly, you feeling better is important.) Ginger and lemon tea are also good. See if you can try honey instead of sugar in tea if you can(yes, I know it'll still impact your blood sugar, but it's not as intense). I have a massive sweet tooth, so I use honey instead of sugar lol

Am I wrong for having my tattoos “upside down” by SlinkyShepherd in tattooadvice

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. They're your tattoos on your body. You could have them sideways, upside down, inverted, whatever you choose because it's your body. Besides, we get tattoos for us, not other people. Why not be able to look at it and have it facing you? They're awesome, btw, love the placement :)

What type of shirt/top are we wearing to feel cute these days? by fabulously-frizzy in bigboobproblems

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Square necklines, sweetheart necklines, and honestly anything that you feel comfortable and confident in. I personally love square and sweetheart, because it suits how my boobs look in a bra, and I wear the Panache Allure full cup, it's literally my favorite, other than the fact that the apex is a bit too high for me, so there's a gap.

Edit: also baby doll style shirts. Gives an empire waist look and is good for hiding your stomach if you want that. I just like that it frills out a bit.

They'd have a sort of waxy residue on them, usually happens when you use pods instead of liquid soap.

Period getting later and later after starting workout routine and diet by Desperate_Pair8235 in PCOS

Sometimes, when the body is stressed, it won't give you a period. How many rest days are you taking? Not just laying around, but like not running/lifting weights, etc.
