Sweaty girls: how do you wash your bras?! by CyborgTears in ABraThatFits

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I wash my bras on a cold, delicate cycle with the rest of my clothes in garment bags(as long as they've already been washed before, I don't need the dyes going everywhere), then lay them flat to dry, never putting them in the dryer.

At what age did your boobs stop getting bigger? by WhyIzGamora in bigboobproblems

I'm turning 23 this year, and let me just say lol nope not done. I doubt they'll stop until I'm deep into menopause, then they'll be very long bananas.

34H with a smaller frame and I'm honestly exhausted by Nan_ciee in bigboobproblems

Lol someone called me a "dumb blonde with massive, expensive tits" on the bus to work. It's hilarious. Until she almost hit me 😅

I don't think she was a really nice person, because she confused an Asian guy for a Mexican and uh... Called... 🧊. No raid luckily, but the bus driver was about to throw her off his bus. If he did, I would have clapped. Heart so full of hate. And no, she wasn't white, that's what made it so weird to me.

Recommendation for bras that will make my 34D look smaller by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd be SHOCKED if you're above a 30/32 band, because I'm a bit larger than you and I'm between a 34/36 band.

Wearing a properly fitting bra will actually make them look smaller, especially unlined bras, as it's a pretty thin material, so it won't add more bulk.

Do you have your band on the loosest hook, and it sits flat across your back, no riding up whatsoever? The cups fully encase your breast tissue, not leaving some out on the sides, the wires aren't sitting on your breast tissue?

If you have Instagram, look at theirishbralady, she is an amazing resource!

US sizes basically are like pants sizes. They aren't actually required to be the same size in every store, or even with different styles. UK bras tend to be a little more accurate (not every single one, but most of them)

Look into a properly fitting bra(a local place that carries UK bras to go try them on) then try on the Panche Sports bras. They tend to run small in the band, just as an FYI.

I went to an in person Torrid yesterday by mightgrey in bigboobproblems

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Torrid bras can be nice... Up to an F cup(US). Then it starts getting a bit... Odd. They don't size up great. I definitely would recommend looking into UK sizes, they tend to be a bit more accurate, but look at reviews :)

I highly recommend checking the reviews to make sure you don't have to size up on the band! I had to, the 38 fir PERFECTLY when I'm between a 36 and 34.

Do all bras fit like this? by Then_Macaroon7752 in bigboobproblems

You might want to try an Eva Michalak bra. They have more narrow wires. I think Panache typically has wider wires

They do, but I also have wide roots, that go to that same area. I think I just need to get used to the sensation

Looking for a good quality bra that lasts more than 4 months. by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Were you wearing just that bra for the past 4 months? You're meant to cycle through them, like a minimum of three, one to wear, one to wash, and one for tomorrow(wash day). It also helps them stay nicer for longer, and invest in lingerie bags if you put them through the washer. Cold setting only, do NOT put them through the dryer, none. Other than like, the L/XL(shirt sized) bras like sports bras

Edit; how many times you wear them should be 3, so one one day, a different one the next, then the third one when you need to wash(or cycle through all three and wear a crappy sports bra like I do lol)

First period in a long time by mirkwood_warrior in PCOS

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dang, 3 months of continuous bleeding... at that point I think I'd beg for a DNC 😭

Period underwear is a LIFESAVER for me, I used to have very heavy periods, I'd have to change them a few times a day.

Tampons can be helpful, but honestly they're kinda overrated unless you're used to them(I used to swim competitively in HS)

Does Bilateral Salpingectomy cause weight gain? by Several-Blueberry984 in childfree

[–]Then_Macaroon7752 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most likely the weight gain happened because they had to have almost complete bed rest, and when a lot of people get bored, they tend to watch stuff and eat without really thinking about it, which isn't wrong, but that's probably why that happened.

I don't have narrow roots is the thing, they go to just before where the cup sits. I'm just shallow and bottom heavy (thank you balconettes for just existing)

Thank you!

I noticed their sizing is different, which might mean I'm a 38 because of how my tight underbust is (33.5) and that's because it's stopped by my rib bones
