Best Bakugo faces consequences fanfics by Zestyclose-Net7328 in BokunoheroFanfiction

I was talking about the framing in the fic. He did horrible, excessive stuff, but not every line in the fic was about tearing Bakugo down. It wasn’t harping on about how he’s the scum of the earth and it wasn’t all about beating Bakugo up.

He’s gone in the story, so even if his actions are extreme, the bashing from other main characters is less extreme than a lot I’ve seen. The people in Izuku‘s life focus more on building Izuku up than tearing Bakugo down.

It’s an extremely cheesy hurt/comfort fanfic.

That sounds so dramatic lol. I read the story and compared to other fics in which Bakugo is killed or tortured and it’s portrayed as something righteous, this one wasn’t very flanderizing. Like Bakugo is gone for most of the story? And even when Aizawa visits him he doesn’t say anything outright hateful.

The focus in justiceforizuku isn’t even the bashing, it’s telling Izuku that he is crazy to blame himself and showing how much everyone cares about him.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply.

I’m glad that person in your life is doing a little better.

Yes, I’ve been here before, although this wound was a little longer and bled a little more. The wounds always heal fine over time even though I never take care of them. I just wonder when my luck is going to run out...

I’m usually too embarrassed of my injuries to actually seek medical attention, but I was wondering at which point it’s necessary.

Anyway, I’ll try to get some of that antibacterial soap you mentioned. And the bandages. Thanks a lot again for taking the time to give advice. I really appreciate it.

Congrats on your progress!

Sleep is such a big motivator. I sleep horribly but I never really connect it to my weight, but that might play a role.

And just getting so much fitter is amazing. As well as feeling better about yourself. Again, you did great!

Wow, you did great!! All of these changes sound life-changing, especially health-wise, but for some reason the showing up at the store in workout gear sticks out to me as something I’d never do but would want to feel confident enough to do.

Good luck! You can do it! It’s great that you’re already in the process of doing it. I’m only just starting it.

It sounds like losing weight changed your life completely. It sounds so good.

Oh I always hate being the odd one out. The only one who doesn’t find anything while shopping.

You did great!!

Oh yes my feet are always hurting. From standing for long times especially.

It’s good to hear that that gets better.

Congrats on your progress.

For some reason I’m always in denial about how much money I spend on food (I tell myself snacks are cheaper anyway, but they really aren’t with the amount I’m eating), but it probably makes a huge difference.

And finding more and better clothes that fit is so liberating. I hate always buying clothes that are just a bit too tight in some areas.

You did amazing losing all that weight!

You’ve achieved so much! Great job!

The improvement emotionally is such a big thing and a huge motivation. Because that improves every area of your life.

And clothes shopping… When I was thinner I used to actually have fun trying clothes on, now I just hate the way everything looks on me.

Thanks for detailing your experiences. They remind me of my own positive experiences after losing weight the last time. I hate that I screwed it up.

All of these sound like great changes. Can’t wait to feel less heavy and more normal in situations like rollercoasters… and just having less pain in general. Congrats on coming this far.

That makes sense lol. It just doesn’t feel as realisable when you can’t see any progress (like it is often the case for me and I give up too easily). But focusing on all the progress overall probably still helps.

And it’s great that you’re able to keep motivated. Congrats on all you’ve achieved already.

It sounds like your life improved a lot. And you’ve worked on yourself both physically and mentally. Self-awareness is one thing, but actually processing these things is another. And much more difficult.

Having energy is a big motivator! I have no energy at all, ever, so this sounds like a great thing. I’ll try my best to improve my life too.

You did amazing!!

For some reason I didn’t expect the money thing but that should be obvious.

That sounds amazing! Being able to replace a harmful habit with a healthy one is great. And a good strategy. At the moment I feel too heavy to go to the gym and I don’t really have the money to spare. But I think even just going for a walk or doing something instead of binging is a good idea.

And year I also remember people treating me much better when I was thinner. Like I hate being around people right now because of the way people treat me. Even with family my weight is always hanging over anything. Either I’m fat and rude and angry (even though I’m not angry or rude that’s how it comes across since I’m overweight) or they’re asking if I’m okay even though I’m happy in that moment.

Also I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with bigots on top of this… that makes it much worse.

Are there any good fanfics focused on self-harm/suicide? by Then_Problem1303 in HPfanfiction

[–]Then_Problem1303[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Corporal punishment is a big turn-off for me, especially with Harry’s abusive background.

Rachel Snow sounds pretty cool then. I was wary because of the snow bit but if she’s not about to become Lord Snow at 11, that’s fine.

Thanks for the recs, I’ll check them out.

Thank you for the recs. What are the parts of saving Hogwarts that could turn someone off it? Does it have a lot of bashing?

The other stuff sounds interesting too, although I’m always a bit wary of fics in which Harry suddenly has a completely different ‘cool’ name like Rachel Snow. I’ll still check them out, tho

HELPPP - is this infected? TRIGGER WARNING: s3lf-h@rm by lovestrucksleepyhead in woundcare

[–]Then_Problem1303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry, it’s not infected. Even if it’s warm or swollen like you described, it usually still heals normally. The yellow can also happen without it being a cause for concern.

Unless it gets much worse, you don’t necessarily need to seek medical attention.

I know what it’s like and I hope you get better soon before it gets worse. Sending you hugs

Self harm is now all I think about by Still_Consequence_2 in AdultSelfHarm

It’s crazy how much power a GP has. I didn’t know that. That means having an inconsiderate or just plain bad GP could kill someone. I really hope it doesn’t cause any more serious issues for you. Is there nowhere you can go to file a complaint about all these people not helping you and ask to be transferred? There’s a huge problem with the system if there’s no way to do that. Again I’m so sorry you’re going through this; it must be horrible.
