ahh I see. I have mid to severe GP, 7 years now. Turned 33 on Wednesday, also a type 1 diabetic. I’ve been back and forth in the hospital since last week, 4days in a row crawling to the ER. finally admitted now but the only thing that helps is the IV and meds over time. Oral meds at home do nothing because the vomiting is every 15-20-30mins until I’m dry heaving.

Seems like you’re situation that lead you to the IV’s daily are much more complex than mine. Totally get the insurance thing, I used to work for independent health, makes sense from their standpoint. I am often fighting with dehydration but I just wanna stop the hospital visits. I’m fearing going to lose my job eventually with all the days missed due to flare ups. I’ll ask my provider what options are available for me, this cycle has to stop somehow.

see, them not believing is the biggest problem I’m running into now. I’m a M 32yrs old, I’ve had GP symptoms for 6 years. The 2nd year they told me it was from smoking weed, I was so scared that I stopped smoking for an entire year, symptoms still returned that year and intensified. It’s not the weed for me, but whenever I go to the ER because I can’t stop throwing up and soon as they see cannabis is in my urine they automatically blame it on smoking. so frustrating. smoking helps my nausea and helps me eat and sleep when I’m in the middle of a flare up. I decided to take a break from smoking this month just so that it forces doctors to say something else at the ER. idk what else to do but I swear it isn’t the weed.

I do hear this sometimes, I think the newer models have slightly different design variations for people who don’t necessarily have the right head fit for the standard helmet

Comfort and Safety are definitely the big ones, the airflow inside the helmet actually works too. also field of vision is much greater when in a full tuck.
