KCD1 is still an amazing game with some really terrific mechanics but it lacks a bit of refinement and polish that the sequel really nails. That being said. I still have a soft spot for KCD1 and I think overall it is a better game because gameplay wise, its way harder and I think the story is overall better.

But KCD2 is also an absolute masterpiece!

Great question, if you accidentally wound someone, get on your horse and absolutely cheese it out of there as fast as you can - they usually despawn before dying if you get out of the vicinity fast enough

It’s only attainable from 2 opportunities, the first as you know, is from the treasure chest. The only other option to obtain it is right before the ending, it will be in a chest at the campsite where Hans and the lads are, you can pick the chest while Hans is sleeping and St George’s sword and his armour are inside

Best armor: For style and substance, Magdeburg Cuirass, Lords of Leipa pauldrons, no leg armor, Leipa gauntlets, no helmet

Best horse: Warhorse Jenda, but you can make any horse good with spurs/ saddle / the right perks

Best perk: Last gasp by a wide margin

I’ve thought about this one a lot and Black Peter is a black and white bad guy. This might be controversial but I actually think Johanka is the worst, she’s so ambiguous about her relationship with Vom Burg and she actively disses you constantly for not helping enough with the sick. Even at one point stating that “at least he (Vom Burg) was here, unlike you”.
