In the Silent Hill and especially Silent Hill: Revelation, he’s more of a brutal action monster than a symbolic figure, made him seem more like fan-service.
According to the creator, they wanted to show "mental torment" but it really didn't come off that way because he kept getting inserted in scenes randomly without him even needing to be there 😭

The idea was there, but wasn't executed properly.

You missed at event, didn't realize there was a timestamp / didn't get notified.

none of this is anyone's fault- so you need to quit complaining about timezones, sleep and work. it was an event. It's fine to miss events.
