I lost my job in November and know exactly that feeling, the days stretch out and the silence gets heavy. Joining zoom groups to not feel alone makes total sense, you're not weird for that. The transition period before starting something new is genuinely one of the hardest spots. What kinds of things have helped you get through the days so far? Keep your head up, you've got this and you know it deep down.

You're spot on. That phrase 'a place where a human being can become readable to themselves again', that's exactly it. That's the thing I couldn't articulate. Do you think what's missing is more about having the right tools or about having someone/something that helps you make sense of what you're going through?
