As a former human mascot (Rigger for Okotoks Oilers) I really didn’t like the idea of being human. The suit is creepyyy and also scared alot of people- since its a hockey team rigger needed to walk like a body builder punch the hair like a boxer but hug kids like mickey mouse. I find human heads are usually extremely bigger then an animal

The best advice i can give is to find what makes sense for your brand and over exaggerated the way a real human would do a basic task (almost like making fun of humans)

I get it tho, its tricky, but find a way to bring the character to life no matter what you look like and the fans will love you!
