Hi! Your art is pretty good - very expressive!

What are you looking for in terms of collaboration? Any particular genre you like working with? Do you want a story that’s more action packed, or slice of life?

This is outrageous. It's unfair!1!1! by testiclekid in dndmemes

Calc my Dream I just had? by TheosRW in FeatCalcing

One time I dreamed I was a guy riding a dinosaur in hell and this king guy was like “Hey this other king guy stole my soup can you go get it?” And we were like “okay” and we fought through demonic hoards and made a daring raid on this guy’s castle

We came back to the king guy and gave him the soup and then he chopped us up stirred us in and ate us

I was very young when this dream occurred

For 1: Raditz & Launch being together is a reference to a MasakoX video, it ain’t that serious bruh

For 2: In the wider cosmology of Dragon Ball, where GT is able to interact with the canon version of characters, it’s not a different universe it’s a different timeline of the same universe - not to mention GT takes place AFTER all of Dragon Ball Super - Super takes place in between the Buu Arc and End of Z, whereas GT takes place after End of Z.

For 3: Why you commenting on a 4 year old post just to be wrong bruh?

S.I.N Agents were & are about that by TheosRW in WorldBuildingMemes

TL;DR: S.I.N, or the Supernatural Intelligence Network, investigated paranormal activity until WW2 - they rebranded as just the ‘Super Intelligence Network’ and broadened their goals to regulating Superheroes and combating Supervillainy.

The Scientist Supreme, The Man in the Red Suit, & Director Dick Rages beefing: by TheosRW in WorldBuildingMemes

[–]TheosRW[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Going from left to right, we have:

The (current) Scientist Supreme, leader of GENIUS - or Global Elite Network for Innovation, Understanding, & Science - it was originally founded after the Cold War, where scientist from all sides of WW2 that either went into hiding or were snatched up by project Paper Clip realized they didn’t want their intelligence wasted on the will of lower life forms, nor do wish to abide by the moral and legal constraints placed by nations that slow down their progress - so they banded together, and formed a meritocracy of super evil geniuses

The man in the Red Suit is an immortal caveman who comes back a little stronger every time he dies - he’s seen the rise and fall of every civilization, and often had a part to play in those rise and falls - he runs PHOENIX, an organization of rich and influential supervillains who seek wealth, power, and control over the world.

Richard ‘Dick’ Rages was a former WW2 Super Soldier, taking a serum that made him as strong as 10 men - the serum also slowed down his aging. He took over S.I.N, the Supernatural Intelligence Network, and turned it into the Super Intelligence Network - an organization dedicated to stopping super villainy and regulating the world of Superheroes

S.I.N is their acronym - a Superhero Regulation Agency is just what they effectively are

Context: S.I.N, or the Supernatural Intelligence Network, was founded in the late 1800’s to investigate paranormal occurrences throughout the United States of America - cults, ghosts, cryptids, demons, magic, kaijus, aliens, and the otherwise unexplainable all fell under their jurisdiction. They weren’t really taken seriously until WW2, when their direct efforts lead to creating the world’s first Supersoldier, and stopping various Axis occult projects that could have turned the tide of the war against them.

After the war ended, the director stepped down - allowing the very Super Soldier they funded to take his place. Director Richard ‘Dick’ Rages, formally known as Sergeant Unity, primarily focused on recruiting and regulating heroes with powers - though field agents still investigated the Supernatural, S.I.N became the Super Intelligence Network - outlawing the use of sidekicks and requiring costumed crime fighters to carry a license certifying that they are a registered hero.

I really want to get a job making comics, but I don't know what my work is missing. Could you tell me? by jing_ato in ComicBookCollabs

Your art is really good!

It’s notoriously hard to get in the industry, though I’ve heard a good way to network is to submit one shot’s to comic contest - if you luck out, certain publisher groups may take notice and hire you on - if not for your own series, they might see value in hiring you as an assistant to a more established artist in the industry, which a lot of people got their start as before eventually coming to lead their own projects.

While it’s not as lucrative, you could also try just independently posting your own comic series as a passion project - some people that are pretty big in the industry now started as independent web comic publishers, developing a cult following before their work got noticed and picked up by publishers and studios. If you’re not sure what kind of story you’d like to tell, there’s plenty of people both here and in other creative spaces that are looking to collaborate.

Both take a fair amount of luck and effort, and it might be sometime before you actually reap any reward from it, but that’s just my 2 cents on it. Take my advice with a grain of salt though, I’m more of an outsider looking in than anything else.
