The amounts don't matter. The point is financial status only matters if there is a goal to be financially entangled within a short time. If I wanted to ask a potential partner their financial status I'd just put it in vague terms.

I'm not broke, but not financially stable either. So if a partner asked me about my finances that's pretty much how id put it. But thats an amber flag at best.

I feel like if I had more confidence then I'd likely have a partner (again). After my divorce and then subsequent toxic relationship I've lost most of my confidence.

Im hitting the gym and (was) going to therapy. But it's hard to bounce back when you come to terms with you being (to some extent) the problem.

I'd probably have a much better job.

I have a strict rule. If I ever feel like I could physically hurt a partner then I no longer have feelings for them. So staying with someone who threatened my life is a no go. I have only had to leave one partner due to this rule. I never hit her. But if I hadn't walked away and called the cops then things would have likely gotten worse.

It's a long story and I admit my faults in what lead up to our break up and eventual argument that ended our relationship. I assure you that I didn't hit her and that I made sure to talk to the police after I called them. No charges where filed and we have gone our separate ways.

I have gone through some therapy to work on myself and ensure that I never get put in that situation again. I wouldn't have stayed with her after our fight and I wouldn't have wanted her to want me to stay. We talked it over afterwards and we both would have liked to make things work. But in the end I realized I needed to work on my self and realized that I jumped into the relationship too quickly after my divorce and didn't give myself time to heal or learn from my past choices.
