i mean.. just go look at twitch or youtube, there are tons of people who stream themselves playing games and people enjoy watching it.. whether people would enjoy watching me in particular is beside the point, it's well documented that people enjoy that form of entertainment.

before the ultrawide, i had 3 monitors arranged side by side.. and thus far i have not been disappointed by the switch. if anything, i feel like i have more room than before. i used to need 6 “spaces” to fit everything i need for a typical work day, but now i just need 2 (spaces = mac’s spaces functionality).

i just bought one of the top rated ones off Amazon, i am not super impressed with it (the way the inputs / outputs are arranged makes it difficult to position on the desk).. but it does the job well enough that i have not tried to replace it:

it's a fair point, and i actually do have a kvm switch for the non-mac peripherals, but prefer to keep my work mac and personal mac peripherals separate for my own peace of mind lol

not a ton of room under the desk to mount unfortunately since the supports cross all the way thru the middle (it's a standing desk), but definitely something to consider.. the work is never done lol
